The Board of Directors of Forthright Securities & Investments Limited is made up of the following distinguished Nigerians:


A foremost academician and former Commissioner for Commerce and Industries, and later Finance & Economic Planning in the old Oyo State government. He was also a Special Adviser to the Honourable Secretary of Finance during the transitional government. Prof. Ariyo has also been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wema Bank Plc and Trans International Bank Plc. He holds a PhD in Economics.



Festus Olatunbode Ashogbon holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees both in Economics from Ondo State University (now University of Ado Ekiti) in 1988 and University of Lagos Akoka in 1990 respectively. On completion of his Master of Science degree, he secured employment with International Funding Services Plc. He left there for Regent Capital Services Limited where he trained and qualified as an Authorised Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange in December 1995 and became a Chartered Stockbroker in March 1997. He is also an Associate Member of the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria. Between 1995 and 1996 he was with the National Bank of Nigeria where he was involved in the packaging and restructuring of the bank for the new investors.

He joined Dynamic Portfolios Limited in 1997 where he was exposed to packaging of securities for the investing public. He left Dynamic Portfolios Limited to join Mayfield Investments Limited as the Head of Capital Market. While at Mayfield Investments Limited, he single handedly managed the divestment of IGI & Associates Limited from Cooperative Bank Plc through the sale of 334,150,192 units on the floor of The Nigerian Stock Exchange. In March 2000, he left Mayfield Investments Limited and joined Forthright Securities and Investments Limited as the head of Capital Market where he rose to the current position. He has participated in packaging of securities for sale to the investing public and attended many training courses. He is a board member of the Nigeria's leading Professional Accountancy Tuition Centre - Wyse Associates Limited. He has lectured Economics, Public Finance, and Fiscal Policy for over 20 years. Between 2001 and 2002 he was a part time lecturer at the Department of Banking and Finance, Lagos State University, Ojo.


He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of London and Nigeria, a member of the Institute of Credit Management and an Authorized Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. Mr. Faromoju was a General Manager with Centre - Point Merchant Bank and Head of Centre-Point Securities Limited up till December, 1995. While with centre-point, he was involved with packaging of various companies' floatation. His experience in the banking industry spans over 20 years. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of stockbrokers. He also has extensive experience in capital market operations acquired in the last 20 years, with expertise in company's financial engineering and investment advisory. He was formally a member of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.


He holds a degree in Software Engineering from Bromley College of Technology, UK. Mr. Lawal is an experienced computer programmer/analyst and has designed various application packages and customized packaging software. He is currently the Managing Director of Systemedair International Limited.


A graduate of Law, he was called to the Bar in 1991. He worked with the Ministry of Education, Niger State where he rose to the post of Head of Department, Education and Sciences and was a member of various boards. He is currently into private legal practice.


He is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Transport of United Kingdom and Nigeria. He also obtained a Masters degree in Transport Planning (MTP) as well as postgraduate diploma in transport administration. Mr. Okunnuga attended various courses, seminars and workshops both locally and abroad. He is also a member of various professional bodies such as the Institute of Transport Administration of Nigeria and Chartered Institute of Transport UK and Nigeria. He began his working carrier as a Traffic Officer with the Nigeria Airways and rose to the post of Acting Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer. He is presently the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Nicon Airways.


Mr. Olatunji holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Ibadan and a Diploma in Marketing obtained from the Institute of Marketing, Cookham, UK. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, a United Kingdom based institute. He is also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management. He has attended various specialist courses in Nigeria and abroad. Mr. Olatunji began his working experience with Knight Frank & Rutley as a Marketing Manager in 1969. He had a stint with UACN before joining Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) in 1972 as Commercial Assistant and rose to the post of the Marketing Manager. Mr. Olatunji joined Chemical and Allied Products Plc (CAPL) in 1979 as the Marketing Manager. He acquired extensive experience in various departments in the organization and later rose to become Executive Director in charge of Marketing and Sales. In 1998, he became the Chief Executive of DURT Limited and in January 2003 joined R.T. Briscoe (Nigeria) Plc as the Deputy Managing Director, and subsequently elevated to the MD/CEO, a position he held till date.


Engr. Wachuku obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Lagos. He is a member of various professional bodies, such as Nigerian Society of Engineers. Engr. Wachuku worked for National Electric Power Authority (NEPA) for thirty two years between 1972 and 2004 rising from Pupil Electrical Engineer to General Manager (Transmission). While in active service, Engr Wachuku attended various courses such as the G.E.C. Protection Course, Stafford, England and other management courses. On various occasions, Engr. Wachuku was involved with installation and commissioning of voltage transformer for NEPA all around the country. He also led various NEPA groups abroad for testing of transformers and other equipments manufactured for NEPA. He voluntarily retired from NEPA on June 10, 2004.
